EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

 

The Board may hold executive sessions at any and all Board meetings.  Executive sessions of the Board are closed meetings and may be attended only by members of the Board, the Secretary to the Board, and persons designated by the Board.

 

The Board shall call an executive session only when the good name or character of an individual is to be discussed.  All official votes of the Board shall be taken in an open session, and the results thereof shall be recorded in the official minutes.

 

The Board realizes the importance of keeping the public well informed on matters pertaining to education and shall always endeavor to conduct the educational business of the community in open sessions of the Board.
