TYPES OF BOARD MEETINGS

 

 

The Board shall hold an annual meeting each year in November for the purpose of reconstituting the officers of the Board.  At least five (5) other regular meetings shall be held during the school year.  Special meetings may be held at such place as the duties and the business of the Board may require.

 

The Board shall hold a meeting each year for the purpose of giving the public an opportunity of presenting to the Board matters relating to public school funds or any other matter related to the administration of the public schools.  The Board hereby directs the Superintendent to publish a notice of regular meetings in a newspaper published in the County.

 

The Board shall hold a regular meeting on the second Monday of each month.  Normally, all regular meetings of the Board are held at 5:00 p.m. at the County Board office.  Such meetings may be held at such place as the duties and the business of the Board may require.
