The Board may make use of professional consultants from state departments of education, colleges, universities, and other resource units when consultative services may be helpful to the School System. All consultants must be approved by the Superintendent and a contract signed, prior to the invitation and arrangement for visitation by such person or persons to the School System. The services of consultants may be secured without competitive bids.
