Board members may submit resignations at any time during their terms of office. Such resignations are subject to Board approval. In the event a Board member chooses to resign, a written statement of resignation should be submitted to the Board as far in advance of the effective date of resignation as possible. Board members shall be considered resigned when they permanently establish their residence outside the district they were elected to represent, outside the area served by the School System, or outside the County, or when they become employees of the Board.
